Garden barbecue in rough stone

A built-in barbecue and garden wall in traditional rough stonework, topped with a carved stone eagle. The rough coursing is deliberate: it matches the older stone walls common in Cyprus villages, so a new structure settles into an established garden instead of announcing itself.

The grill chamber is lined with firebrick, which takes the heat that natural stone alone would eventually crack under, and the chimney is sized to draw properly so smoke leaves rather than rolling back over whoever is cooking.
