Natural stone pool surround with patterned border and matching boundary stones.
A pool surround in pale natural stone, with a decorative banded border framing the water and bullnosed coping stones running the full perimeter. The border is what lifts a pool terrace above a plain slab field, and it costs surprisingly little extra because it uses offcuts from the main paving.
The whole area is laid to falls so rainwater and splash-out drain away from the pool rather than pooling on the surface. The finish is textured for grip when wet, and pale enough to stay comfortable underfoot through a Cyprus August.
