Grand villa, full stone package

This villa took the full range of our work at once: fluted columns carrying the porticos on all three storeys, turned balustrades along every balcony and terrace, curved external staircases, and a pool terrace paved to match. Working on one house at that scale means every element has to share the same stone and the same finish, so the building reads as one piece rather than a set of parts bought separately.

Columns were made in sections and drilled for reinforcement where they carry roof load. The balustrade runs were templated on site so the angled sections down the staircases meet the level runs cleanly at each landing. The pool terrace uses a textured finish for grip underfoot while the architectural stonework above is left smoother.
