Hand-built stone arches forming the centrepiece of a full property renovation.
Hand-built stone arches forming the centrepiece of a full property renovation, replacing flat openings between rooms. The arches were built over temporary timber formwork, with each voussoir cut to its own taper so the ring locks together under its own weight.
Because this was part of a wider renovation we handled the surrounding work too, so the arches were finished, plastered around and tied into the floor levels as one job rather than left for another trade to make good.
