Rock waterfall feature

A waterfall and pond feature built into a hillside garden with a view down to the sea. The rock was chosen and placed piece by piece so the water breaks over several levels instead of falling in one sheet, which is what gives the sound.

The basin below is sealed and holds the pump and pipework out of sight. A feature like this works with the slope of a garden rather than against it, so it suits the terraced plots common along the Cyprus coast.
